Winter is finally here and already I find myself wanting sunshine. We are all sick and the cold weather has me longing for the warmth of Island sunshine. A short drive, some yummy deli style food and My Love to keep me compnay. The makings for a perfect sole comforting day! I wish I were here!

So, for the record this is NOT a common occurence in our house! We were out Christmas shopping and came home to a gift of our own. Of course I ran for my camera!! What do you suppose they are dreaming of? I think they were thinking something along the lines of.... "WOW,we are definetly scoring some points with Santa right now!".... or... " this will probably get us pancakes in the morning for sure!" when they went to sleep in the same bed. SOOOO CUTE!!! I love when my littles show signs of sweetness and ... I probably will make them pancakes in the morning..since I did FINALLY buy more pancake mix today ;)

Just wanted to share some love for Teresa Collins 'Haunted Hallows' paper line. I received this beautiful package of goodies from GREEN TANGERINES...

I LOVE these velvet textured chipboard letters from My Mind's Eye 'Lush' collection. They are super soft and they are thick chipboard letters, so they really stand off the page nicely.
I decided to turn these lovelies into a wooden frame book. I used an unfinished wood frame from Ikea....
I painted it with some Tattered Angels 'Valencia Chalkboard Mist', 'Haunted Shadows Mist', 'Jack o Lantern Mist' and 'Cookies n Cream Glam'. Then rubbed the edges with 'Distress Ink's Peeled Paint'. I also added some 'Sparkly Fluff's Pumpkin Delight' to give the frame a little more texture.
It turned out like this.....
Yes, we are squinting into the bright sun.. sometimes you just have to take the photos you get... ;)
The texture on the 'Reminisce's Enchanted Black' paper makes me think of rock candy! And that's always a good thing around here... hehehe....

a close up of some ebossing... just added a touch of texture to the bats using 'Adirondack's Embossing Powed Eddplant'.
I can hardly beleive my girl isn't this small any more. I so enjoy reliving these moments while creating fun projects to display such fun times! I think I'll just leave this one out all year. :)

My little Jordyn is growing way too quickly. These photos seem like yesterday and are such a harsh reminder that she isn't so little anymore. As sad as it is I couldn't resist using them for my first GREEN TANGERINES Design Team Projects. . She's just so sweet and these photos fit perfectly with the Creative Imaginations 'Lullaby Girl' 12x 12 sticker sheet I picked up at the store. Thank you Kelly and Brandi!! I love how they turned out. Hope you do too...
